For some reason, the "Index" function for Acrobat DC stopped working on one of my PCs, but works on another one, with the same folder! (Both have Windows 11 and both are updated to the latest version ). The first PC gices an error messge about being unable to create the Index within a few seconds of running. The second PC works like a charm.

Sorry for the delayed response and troubled experience.
I'm following up to check if your issue is resolved. Currently, we aren't aware of such an issue at our end. There is a known issue with Indexing, which is discussed here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/full-text-index-with-catalog-in-adobe-acrobat-pro....
Ensure your copy of Acrobat is updated. Launch Acrobat>Help Menu> Check for Updates to check pending updates.
If you’re still experiencing this issue, I encourage you to share any additional details or steps that led to it. This will assist us in diagnosing and fixing the issue more effectively.
