Inhalte von Formular-Textfeldern werden im Browser, aber nicht im Acrobat Pro angezeigt

Hallo,

wir haben folgende Herausforderung: Unsere selbst erstellten Formulare werden, wenn auf Windows 11 ausgefüllt und gesichert, im Acrobat Pro mit Inhalt angezeigt werden. Sobald das Dokument auf dem iPad ausgefüllt wird ist der Inhalt der Textfelder nur noch bei Acrobat Reader zu lesen, im Dateimanager nicht mehr.  Wird diese Datei dann nach Windows 11 synchronisiert oder per Mail versendet, ist der Inhalt der Formular-Textfelder nicht mehr im Acrobat Pro zu sehen, sondern nur noch im Browser.

Woran kann Das liegen?

Wir hoffen auf dringende und schnelle Lösungsansätze 🙂

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file form or with all the forms, try with a different PDF form and check if that works.

From what you described, it sounds like the form fields are being saved in a way that does not properly “flatten” or embed the field content across platforms. On iPad, the data may appear as temporary annotations or layered field values, which explains why you see the content in Reader or a browser preview but not in Acrobat Pro on Windows.

Here are a few things you can try:

  • Check the save method on iPad: After filling out the form, use “Save As” or “Export a Copy” instead of just closing the file. This helps ensure the form data is saved directly into the PDF.

 

  • Update apps: Make sure both Acrobat Pro on Windows and Acrobat Reader on iPad are updated to the latest versions. Recent updates have fixed cross-platform form rendering.

If the fields are visible in browser previews but not in Acrobat Pro, it’s often a sign that the fields are still interactive, but the values weren’t embedded. Flattening should resolve this.

 

If you continue to face the same problem even after flattening, it could be related to how the forms were originally created. A small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs would be very helpful. Also share the affected PDF form so we can check it at our end.
