You can remove the white space using the Crop page tool in Acrobat. In Acrobat Go to Edit > Crop pages. Please refer to the information in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/4iGuAuw

I have already tried this. Clicking on crop pages immediately opens the set pages boxes. Does not give me the chance to select anything first. 
 
Is there by chance a tutorial video on how to do it?

You can't, really, at least not with a LOT of work and headaches. PDF files were simply not meant to be edited in this way. Go back to the original file format and make the changes there, or export the PDF to an editable format (like Word), change it there and then create a new PDF file.
