insert file keeps duplicating the file that was replaced.

I have Adobe Acrobat DC ver. 2021.007.20099.  I have a 500 page file that I want to insert a new page into.  The page that I am inserting is almost identical to the page I am placing it after except it has a different filed date.  Every time I have tried to insert the new page it makes an exact copy of the page before it  I double checked to make sure the page I am inserting is indeed the correct page, but it reverts every time.  I even inserted some blank pages after that 1 page and then tried to insert my revised file date page and it still made a duplicate of the page before the blank pages!  Does anyone have any idea why it is doing this?

If you insert a page with a form field, and it has the same name as a form field somewhere else, then it is the SAME form field. A given form field can only have one value. So what you are describing is normal and cannot be changed unless you change the form field name after inserting each page.
