Is there a way to insert a hover box so when hovering over a form entry area it gives directions on what is needed to be entered?

Yes, using the Tooltip field (under the field's Properties - General tab).

I may have not worded my question correctly. I need to customize the text in the popup box that comes up when hovering over a form field. Example "This field is required, please restrict your entry to text only."
