I'm using Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) (24.005.20320). Since the latest update, I can no longer insert text as a comment by right-clicking. In other words, when I place my cursor between characters (not highlighting text) and right-click, the menu contains the following options:
The option to insert text as a comment appears in the vertical toolbar, but not in this menu. Is there a way to add it to the menu? I've looked in Preferences, but can't see a way to do it.

Hi @DKaiser613,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your feedback.
If you are using Modern Acrobat, click inside the text where you need to mark Insert text comment, click on the "Comment" tool on the floating Quick toolbar to expand on further options, and you will see "Insert text". Let us know if that is what you were looking for.
Please check the screenshot attached

Hi @DKaiser613 ,
we are able to understand your concern and have acknowledged it.
For now if you do not want to use the Quick toolbar to add the insert text annot, you can use a quick shortcut.
place your cursor between characters and start typing from your keyboard, that way, we will directly add insert text annot at the place of cursor.
Do let us know if you faces any issues with this shortcut.
Thanks,
Prashant.

This is fantastic; I came here looking for the same update as the inability to right click and add the annotation was annoying. The ability to type directly into the text is outstanding!
