Where do I set the insets for text fields in Acrobat? I don't want the text in the form field to begin right next to the frame.
If by insets you mean how to indent text, headers and paragraphs in a textfield object you must enable the "Properties Bar".
It is accessed through the main toolbar through three menus:

NOTE: This feature is poorly documented and kind of glitchy to make it work (not to be confused with the Edit Tool or Prepare Form tool field properties dialogue window).

Thanks is_rbis. Got it to work after bending it to my will. You're right about it being glitchy. This formatting item is hard to control.
