Hi Jlefc,

we apologize for the delay in response to your query.

If you are still experiencing this problem, then we request you to help us with further information -

1- What is the exact version of Adobe Acrobat Pro you are working on?

2- Have you tried installing the Acrobat's font pack from-  Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows : Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Font Pack (Continuous)

3- Still no luck, then please share the file with us so that we would test the same at our end to see whether we are experiencing the same problem or not?

"You can share the file with us via email. And you can send it to the email that is shared via private message. Please do mention your forum thread in the subject"

If you have already found the solution for this problem, then please help us with your findings.

Regards,

Akanchha

Does the same thing happen when you select to add new text using this font (vs. editing existing text)? Based on the screen shot, it looks like you are using Acrobat XI. Right under the "Edit text & Images" tool is the "Add Text" tool. Select that, then change your font selection and then click anywhere in your PDF file and start to type new text. Does it show up correctly? If it does, then there is very likely a mismatch between the encoding used for the text in your document and the encoding used in the new font. Can you edit the original text using a different font?
