Install PPD for Post Script export

Explorer ,
Apr 14, 2023 Apr 14, 2023

Hello, i use a RISO, therefore i need to export .ps Post Script files for the RIP. I have a .PPD File with the settings and it is applied to indesign. But i want it to work in Acrobat. When i choose export .ps i cant find the settings for my rip, but just the standard ones.

Where is the folder for my RISO.ppd to install for use in Acrobat???

I think (but am not sure) that Acrobat just reads the PPD from installed PostScript printer drivers in Windows. So install the PostScript driver for your RIP and see if it helps.

I copied it in windows/system32/sppol/drivers/x64/3 and this worked.

It seems like the outcome is a bit different to what i get when i do it via indesign.
