Hello,

We have a small issue when installing Adobe DC and Adobe Reader.

On the desktop the shortcut is for "Adobe Acrobat DC" in control panel it shows up as "Adobe Acrobat DC (64bit)" then when you open the application it says, "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC(64bit)" Also, when installing Acrobat Pro DC it comes up as Adobe Acrobat DC as the shortcut but when you open it says ADobe Acrobat Pro.  Is there a reason why it can't all be the same naming?  Our reporting tool pulls the software from Control panel so it's difficult to know which version the user actually has.  Is there a way for us to have consistancy?

Thank you for your help in advance,
Rick

If you have Adobe Acrobat DC then you don't need to install the Adobe Acrobat Reader separately.

Reader is the free version with a subset of the features of Acrobat DC.

Just use Adobe Acrobat DC for all your PDF requirements.
