Integration with Web Application and Client Adobe Acrobat

Hi,

We have a web application that needs to manage PDF Forms. We need to open the PDF from our Sharepoint Document Server in clients adobe reader and save the file back to sharepoint server. We need to trigger open in abode from our web application. How can we achieve this using abode reader.

I don't see that you can. Web pages are blocked from controlling how a PDF opens.

Is this possible from another application(exe) that is installed on the Client Machine. That is, my web application will communicate with the exe and the exe will Open Adobe and will monitor for the document to save and once saved the exe will upload the document to server. Is it possible to do that.
