Interactive PDF created in INDesign - can you have hidden pages?

I'm creating an interactive PDF from InDesign, there are two parts, the first 35 pages of content and then the next 200 pages of references. Is there a way to have the second part hidden (so as not to overwhlem the viewer), but be able to access the pages with page jumps if the viewer wants more in-depth information? Any inof would be helpful, thanks.

Yes, but it's complicated. Instead, I would use file attachments, with links to them from the original file.

You can also use hidden "page templates", that can be spawned by the user.
