Interactive PDF not populating fields

New Here ,
Sep 07, 2025 Sep 07, 2025

Hi there, My university has given a PDF template with fields to populate. here are the instructions:

Using the PDF form

• The Add a New Drug tab allows you to add drugs to your drug list. You can enter the relevant Drug

details into this page, click “Add this drug” button and it will add it to your drugs list. You can

continue to do this for each drug you need to enter for your patient. If you need to remove a drug

from the drug list please use the “Remove drug” button next to your entry.

• Import AR details – you can use this button to import relevant details from your paired AR. Some

auto-populated from your AR will not be editable in the Progress Note. You can revise your AR and

re-import any changes, if required.

Whenever i go to clock add this drug, nothing happens! pls help

It's impossible to help you without more details, or seeing the actual file in question.

But make sure you open it in Acrobat or Reader, not any other PDF viewer. If it still doesn't help, contact the support of your university for help.

I have opened in Adobe Acrobat reader (free version). my Class mates dont have any issues. It is supposed to populate in the second page when you click 'add this drug'. however whenever I click that I just get a sound (like something isnt right) from the laptop but no text populating anywhere. I cant fill in the second page with text either. I have checked that javascript is on. any more help from you is much appreciated as the university was not very helpful! thanks.

You don't need to do that in order to fill in a form. Make sure you cancel it in time, as it automatically proceeds to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period.

Can you post a full-window screenshot, or a video of what you're seeing?

Also, can you share the file?
