Intune Installation without Intervention

New Here ,
Apr 29, 2024 Apr 29, 2024

Hello,

My organization has had difficulty using Intune device management to install Adobe Acrobat Standard, and have it update without administrative intervention.

There is no Acrobat installation on the Microsoft Store. The Adobe Creative Cloud when chosen throws the error "The selected app does not have a valid latest package version." This doesn't allow installation. The option to install it outside of the store is possible, but we would have to manually install, then wouldn't have control over Acrobat, as Intune's wouldn't either.

We've tested the process in the guide Deploying Acrobat using Intune (https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/deploy-packages-using-ms-intune.html), and the application still required administrative intervention to update. The organization wouldn't have control over the Acrobat app if installed using it as well.

How can I have users run Acrobat Pro or Standard versions updated with control over the app?
