Is a magnify image hover in PDF possible?

Hoping someone can help answer this for me...

I have an Indesign CC 2018 document using interactive buttons, where 40 thumbnail images click to become full page images - great! However, my client now wants another level of zoom/magnify on the large image, similar to what you would get online such as this: Magnifier.js demo

Is this possible?

Or is there a way to open the loupe tool from a button on the page? I cant see it as an option on the 'execute menu item' in the button properties dropdown.
