Is it possible to add a set of engineering symbols to the drawing tools?

Some engineers working in the oil and gas industry are using Acrobat (Reader) for redlining drawings and schematics. They would like to have a set of standard symbols used normally in that kind of technical documentation also available in Acrobat.

Does anybody know if it is possible to add such a set of symbols to the drawing tools?

Only as custom Stamps, under that tool.
