Is it possible to calculate the sum of tick boxes in a text field?

It looks possible to me because: In the text field, I choose the addition function and I am able to tick the tickboxes I want to add.

The problem is that it doesn't work - the text field remains empty when I klick the tick boxes.

Give checkboxes an export value of 1, in checkbox properties, under 'options' tab.
