Is it possible to group checkboxes together?

Hello 🙂 

I have a few sections on my pdf that have checkboxes, and I’m trying to make it so that a “group” of 6 checkboxes shows up as required. I want it to be required that at least 1 checkbox is selected if a certain text field is used, but I want it to be possible for more than 1 of the checkboxes to be selected, which is why I changed them from Radio Buttons.

Is this possible?

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro (64-bit) if that matters/helps at all.

You can use a script to make checkboxes required depending on value in text field.
