Is it possible to purchase Adobe Acrobat Pro standalone (w'out subscription)?

Since the world of software and apps changed to subscription model, I made a choice to stick to the old paradigm -- where I purchase an app once without further strings to the seller.

In this case, I am looking to purchase a standalone version of Adobe Acrobat DC Pro and have no plans to subscribe to a subscription. I guess there are many like me.

The new DC suites require monthly subsriptions yet as a non-graphics general user, I can count the number of times in a year I need to use InDesign, Illustrator or PhotoShop. Could Adobe find an AFFORDABLE model for those within my context, even if it includes disabling some advanced features?

Kindly advice.

That's because Adobe is doing its best (it seems) to hide it... Follow these instructions:

Go to the Adobe Products Page (https://www.adobe.com/products/catalog/software.html) and sort the products by name by clicking the "A-Z" button on the right.
At the top of the list you'll now see Acrobat Pro 2020. Click on the Buy button next to it. If you have a prior qualifying version change the "Type" drop-down to "License Upgrade". Otherwise leave it as "Full License".
Then select the other options (OS, Language, etc.) and complete the purchase. You'll get a full license, not a time-based subscription.

Note, however, that recent reports indicate that even this version requires online activation (at least once), so if you plan to install it on a computer that has no internet access at all it won't work for you. In the past it was possible to activate it over the phone, but that seems to no longer be the case.
