Is it possible to use custom icons for checkboxes

I am trying to digitalize a document that has triangle shaped checkboxes. The normal checkbox styles don't offer a triangle shaped check so now I'd like to use a custom check icon.

Is that possible?

No. What you can do, though, is use a button field to show/hide an image. However, since buttons don't have values this will not work if you need to use the selection the user made in another field's calculation or if you want to export the form data, for example.
