Is there a way to set the default printer of Adobe to never change?

First things first, I am in no way talking about setting the default printer of Windows to Adobe PDF. The problem I am having is that Adobe remembers the last printer selected and applies it to the next pdf you open. At work, 1 out of every 10 things I have to print is a blueprint sent to a giant plotter. Now when I select the plotter from the print drop down for the 1 blue print I have to print, the next time I open a pdf the plotter is the selcted print device. So when I go to print a regular document, if i don't catch it, it will print to the giant plotter. Even though the default Windows printer is the small printer at my desk.

Is there a way to set the Adobe software to always use the Windows default printer unless I change it from the drop down? And stop remembering the last used printer?

Hi Triplei

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, you want to to set the Adobe software to always use the Windows default printer unless you change it from the drop down? And stop remembering the last used printer.

Adobe Acrobat always remember the last used printer /print settings by default as its a design behavior. You may submit your request with the engineering team using the link - https://acrobat.uservoice.com/
