is there any way to get the garbage software to open files faster?

it takes acrobat 5 minutes to open a pdf file online that I can download in literally two seconds. Is there a way to get this trash app to function properly or is the acrobat exention just straight garbage like  adobe AI and a dozen other aspects of this trash software?

And also, could someone remind me why I'm paying for this substandard garbage?
