issue using the adobe acrobat free service

I have not subscribed to adobe acrobat for over 3-4 months now. I was using the free service for a while. But just recently, I am being told to subscribe to the trial. All i want to do is use the service for free, but I can't. I have tried to get help from the specialist online but they can not help either.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.

Please try repairing the installation by Help-> Repair Installation.

Would you mind letting me know the version of Acrobat Reader you are using? A screenshot or screen recording would be great to understand the situation.

You may also try re-installing Acrobat Reader from Scratch and then check:

Please run the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html, reboot the computer once, and install the application using the direct link Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Download | Free PDF viewer for Windows, Mac OS, Android and see if that works for you.
