Hello,
We have set custom permissions for document security in an MS document on a PDF file where the AIP client is installed. However, when a user with access rights to the document tries to open it, a message saying 'Cannot connect to the network' appears. But if the user clears the saved account information under Preferences -> Security -> Microsoft Purview Information Protection in Acrobat, the document opens without issue. I am reaching out to inquire in what cases this issue occurs.
Thank you.

Hi @bitdang,
Sorry for the delayed response.
It won't be easy to explain in a couple of lines. I would suggest you read through this document: Sandbox Protections
You may also read this: Protected Mode troubleshooting | Adobe Acrobat, Acrobat Reader. This document lists what Protected Mode doesn't support and the changes across releases. For FAQs and information about registry configuration and creating custom policies, see the Protected Mode chapter in the Application Security Guide.
Let us know if you have more questions will try addressing those.
