I have created a form, in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, which contains a button which opens a specific .oft outlook email template item whenever the button is clicked. The .oft file is located in the same folder as the original form. The form functions perfectly here.
However, the intent is to have users be able to move the form into other pdfs which are located in disparate locations.
For some reason, whenever this form is added to a pdf in a different location, the file path I have in "Tools>Forms>Edit>[RightClick Button]>Properties>Mouse Up>Open a file>FILE PATH" literally changes. Why is the form not taking the actual filepath with it, and instead pointing the Action at a non-existent .oft filepath in the form's new location? Your help would be appreciated!
