Issue with updating Acrobat Reader DC with AcroRdrDCUpd2300620360

New Here ,
Oct 20, 2023 Oct 20, 2023

I am trying to update workstations that currently have  "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 22.001.20169" using the MSP patch AcroRdrDCUpd2300620360.msp . The update runs succesffully but the result is that its showing Adobe Acrobat Reader (without the DC) is installed. Anyone can please clarify if this is an expected behaviour? Thanks

Hi @vnext330

Hope you are doing well and thank you for getting in touch.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Adobe Acrobat Reader are indeed the same application. The "DC" suffix used to be a part of the nomenclature, but it has since been changed.

I hope this information clarifies any confusion you may have had. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to ask.
