Issues with Adobe Acrobat

I lead a team of 6, and are all having problems with printing from to PDF. Here are some issues. Any suggestions would be greatly apprectiated.

Thank you.

1. When creating a booklet from single pages using Press Quality default settings, we get 'document not printed' and 'an error occured' followed by a blank A4.

2. The above process can work on the Standard default, but not for everyone, and not every time. We need Press Quality to get the highest possible quality for print.
3. Creating a PDF from the PDF as a different size often results in a PDF with extra white space around the artwork, and not in the size asked for.
4. We often get at apparently random times, the pop up of 'An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem'.

Hi @defaultuj71k1yqj97w

Hope you are doing well, and sorry for the trouble.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive, please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

A small video recording of the steps you are doing and the issue/s you are experiencing will be beneficial.  If it's a file-specific issue, please share the PDF file in question so we can check it on our end. Also please share the screenshots of all the error messages that you get.

What is the version of the Acrobat Acrobat you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.3 20281 (Mac) or 22.3.20282 (Win) installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also, please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-pdf-printing-acrobat-reader.html and see if that works.

Regards

Amal

Thanks for the reply. See emails below. It happens to any files, and both on or off networks.

Hi there

Thank you for sharing the video recording. The issue 'Document could not be printed' is already reported to our engineering team and is being worked upon.

The fix will be available in the future updates.

Thanks for your time, patience and cooperation on this.

Regards

Amal
