Hi, I have converted a PDF letterhead from PDF to word and I'm having trouble with the Living Wage logo at the foot of the page that moves when you set margins or begin typing. The rest of the artwork stays still. Can someone help? I've attached the PDF and the WORD doc if that helps. All help and suggestions very gratefully received.

Hi Lisa
Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, Living Wage logo at the foot of the page that moves when you set margins or begin typing in the Word file created from the PDF.
I have tried to reproduce the issue on my end and tried exporting the PDF to MS Word and set the margins and entered text in the Word file and its working fine.
However when i tried with the Word file that you have shared, the logo is moving. It seems to be the issue with the Word file that you have created.
Would you mind sharing the steps you did to create the Word file? Please try to reboot the computer once and export the PDF to Word and see if that works for you.
Also make sure you have the recent version 21.07.20099 of Adobe Acrobat DC installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer

Hi Amal, thank you so much for looking into this for me.
I created the artwork originally in Serif Page Plus and exported it to Adobe PDF. Once open in Adobe PDF I then selected export as a word doc. Once open in Word I tried to set margins to begin typing and that's when my issues happened.
I've tried rebooting the computer and it hasn't fixed it. I'll go to Help, check for updates and make sure the Adobe Acrobat DC 21.07.20099 is installed and try rebooting the computer and try again.
Thanks
Lisa

Hi there
We are sorry to hear that. Please check for any missing/pending updates for OS and try updating it and check.
You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.
Regards
Amal

What is the app you have installed? Acrobat Reader, Acrobat Standard or Acrobat Pro?

Hi I appear to have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Adobe Acrobat DC installed. I have the monthly subscription package for all the Adobe packages including AI, ID, and Photoshop.

Ok, Adobe offer in this case two completely different ways to do the same job.
I think you may have used Export from Reader?
Ok, now try
- open in Acrobat Pro (double check the window title to be sure it's Pro).
- use File > Export To > Microsoft Word.
See if this works differently for you.
But, you need to be aware that converting to Word is an uncertain process, and it's often necessary to do all sorts of work on the converted document, especially to do with page flow. You may need to convert the graphic type to stop it flowing.
