Lag while using the freehand.

So I have been trying to freehand write on my pdf to take notes, but I am having a terrible lag or delay while writing. I try to write, and it does show, or my writing is choppy and becomes random squiggles. Is there a way to fix this issue?? I greatly appreciate the help; it's been a struggle, especially during class.

This sounds like a memory problem.  Does your machine meet the mininum CPU, GPU, RAM & VRAM requirements to run Creative Cloud and Acrobat?

So by the looks of it my system meets the requirements, it is also a new laptop.

How much free RAM do you have?

What filesize is the PDF?

I have 15.8 GB out of 16 GB. The file that I was trying to run currently was 10.83 KB. Sorry, it took me a while to reply; my schedule has been hectic.
