Lagging performance on Adobe Acrobat Pro

When did this product become so buggy?  It used to be free and work great...now they charge $30/month and it's a mess with no tech support, just a bunch of useless FAQ and asking users to go to the "community" for help

It seems anything I do there is a 7-10 second lag time, I have a fast computer, all latest updates installed

I don't know if its some sort of conflict with my McAfee anti-virus or some sort of constant attempt to connect online, I've scoured through community posts and followed all recommendations.  I'm in the process of unistalling and re-installing but its taking > 1 hour per Adobe product to uninstall

Same here. crawling. It sometimes takes minutes to even open the programm without a file...

and than it lags forever.

I had it on my old laptop. But also on my brandnew laptop with clean install. Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign are lightingfast. But acrobat moves on less than snailspeed.

I've done all kinds of setting since than and nothing improved. the only speed change is if i clear the five recent files.

Hi Remco_v_W,

Thank you for reaching out.

As the application is laggy, please try reinstalling the application. Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html).

Then reboot the machine and reinstall the latest version from the following page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Please let us know if this issue started recently.

Share the Acrobat and OS versions in use.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
