I am creating a very large combined document, but I need to insert a blank page between each document so when printed on double sided, each document starts on its own page. Is there a way of doing that automatically when creating, or do I need to insert a blank page manually once the document is combined? Thank you.

Is there any reason why you can't just choose to print single sided when going to your print options rather than having blank pages between content pages?

Unfortunately not, the stipulation required for this document when printing is double sided with each document starting on a new page.

It may save some time if you have a blank page (same size page) in a separate PDF file, open up the pages panel (thumbnails) next to your big doc that needs the blanks, and drag the blank thumbnail into the big doc's pages panel where desired. A control-click drag can also be used to duplicate that blank page inside the big document. It's a manual process but can be pretty quick once you get the hang of it.
My best,
Dave

Thank you for your reply - seems a long winded way, but I'll give it a go. On a different operating system, they have the option built-in for add a blank page automatically at the end of each document, and I was hoping Adobe would be the same.

With the Action Wizard you can add blank pages at documents with odd pages. After this you can combine the documents.

Thank you - I shall have a look at this, but there are a lot of documents that need combining, so to open each one and see which has odd pages, is going to be time consuming.

It is not time consuming with an action.

Okay, thank you - I shall give that a go.
