I created a document in photoshop with lines throughout. I saved it as a pdf, which I've done many times before. When I open the pdf with any program besides acrobat, the lines are there. When I open in acrobat, they are missing. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

How did you make the lines in photoshop? Can you post a photo of the same part of the image in both photoshop and Acrobat?

Here you go. None of the lines show up in acrobat, but if I open the newly saved pdf in photshop, they do show. I also printed out the photoshop one & saved it as a pdf and the lines show up when I do it that way, but they are slightly blurred probably from my printer. I just need crisp lines.

Sorry realized I wasn't specific. The left photo is from photoshop, the right from acrobat. And to answer your other question, I made the lines using the line tool.

How strange. I made lines in PS using the line tool. And they were visible on the PDF in Acrobat. Would you mind sharing your PSD document so I can take a peek under the hood to try and troubleshoot it?

At first I thought it was because your layers were set to Pass Through blend mode. But I changes them to normal, and it still acted the same way. So I tried making my own line, and it showed up. So I tried once again to edit your lines and sometimes theyshowed up (like if I made them really big and a different color), and sometimes they didn't. It's a real head scratcher...
I'm not familiar enough with Photoshop blend modes to help much more. I imagine that someone in the PS forum could figure this out in a heartbeat.
But honestly, InDesign would be a better program choice for creating this type of thing.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I'm very curious to see what the problem is.

Well I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad that you couldn't figure it out. On the one hand, it means that I didn't mess something up, but still doesn't tell me the problem. I was already working on another file in photoshop which is why I used it and it only took a couple minutes to create in there. I did end up creating it again in another program and it saved as a pdf just fine. But I use lines in photoshop all the time and have never had this issue before. Thank you so much for trying to help me figure it out!
