Hi community,
I have a planner with 605 pages (with the cover), from page 2 to the end, I have a side bar that contains the 12 months, when someone clicks on it, it gonna head over that specific month, I have added hyperlinks to the Page 2, now I need a way to automate pasting only hyperlinks to all the other pages, layout already exist in all pages, but I need to paste hyperlinks, adding them manually will waste my time and effort (see attached photo to see what I am talking about). If someone could help me with the javascript because I am not familiar with programming

You cannot duplicate or copy-paste Link objects.
You must use Buttons form fields instead. Create them on the first page, select all, right-clic on any one and choose "Duplicate across pages".

What software do you use to open exported PDFs?

I just opened it on google chrome, now I've solved the issue of not showing the dotted outline, but when I click on the hyperlink, it didn't go to that specific page view even though I set the link and saved everything, but when I put the cursor on the hyperlink, it seems clickable but it didn't go to that specific page

The issue is most likely with the PDF viewer used in Chrome.

then? what should I do now?

Nothing much you can do. Report the issue to Chrome.

but I opened the same pdf using acrobat, same issue, the cursor appears to click on the hyperlink but it doesn't go to specific page view even though I've set link to it (I created buttons just to save time and effort because I cannot go page by page through 605 and add hyperlinks manually, the dotted outline disappeared now, but the problem is with the hyperlink doesn't go to specific page view related to it even though I set link and save changes)

Very hard to know what the issue is without seeing the actual file... Can you share it with us, a similar file with the same issue?

from the page 2 to page 6, I've added hyperlinks manually (try clicking on them and you will go to that specific page), but for page 7 till the end, you will see the cursor clicking but going nowhere (I saw this issue using the browser, and when I tried opening it using adobe itself, I don't see even the cursor). I wish you would find a solution, it is so hard to go page by page, a total of 605 and add hyperlinks manually (it's time and effort consuming). See attached screenshot as well to see where I am trying to add hyperlinks

To what format are you exporting it?

Why are you exporting a PDF as a PDF?
Copy link to clipboard

because I added hyperlinks to it, I've designed the planner using Canva and because I have so many pages that exceeded Canva's limit, I couldn't add hyperlinks that's why I've used adobe acrobat pro

How did you save the file in Acrobat when you were done?

I saved it as optimized PDF

Don't do that. It could very well be removing the links in the optimization process. Just save the file normally in Acrobat.

I did but still same issue. This is the file as I said from page 2 to 6 if you click on the side bar (the pink one) where there are months listed you will go to specific pages because I've added them manually but from page 7 till the end hyperlinks are clickable and cursor shows but didn't go to page view even though I've set link (for this, I've created buttons to save time and effort and duplicate them across pages) but still didn't go to page view. PLEASE HELP ME❤

Again, there are absolutely no links in this file. I can't help you any further, unless you want me to create the links for you, which I can do for a small fee.

After links/buttons creation just "save as" the PDF using Acrobat Pro, if you need to optimize it do it before links/buttons creation.
Chrome is a spyware, and also a web browser. It's not a PDF viewer, you should not use it.
