Hi,
I have a 7 day trial version of acrobat pro.
Because i want to experiment with links and attachments within a pdf.
I followed every stap of https://helpx.adobe.com/be_en/acrobat/using/links-attachments-pdfs.html
But it doesn't work. It doesn't open the attachment. I also watched youtubes and did the same. The result was different.
So the attachment is an xlsx, added in the attachments and then set a link in the pdf with the attachment.
The action reads:
what should be a reference to the attachment i suppose and also what i saw on youtube. But what did i do wrong? is it because of the trial version?
If I can not make a simple link, then Acrobat pro doesn't do what i am searching for. And cancel my future subscription.
So hope to hear somebody soon as this is a trial version of 7 days.
Greetings,
Sara

Try this:
Convert the Excel file into a PDF file and use this file as attachment.

To link to a non-PDF file you must use a script. To link to an attached PDF file select the "Go to a page view" action and when you add it and the floating window appears with the "Set Link" button, open the attached file, go to the desired location in it, and then click this button, and your link will point to that location in the file.
