Hi,
I was working on a landscape Word document with linked footnotes. The footnotes were setup correctly in Word using the Insert Footnote feature and when activated they would take you to the correct destination (the their respective footnote at the bottom of the page).
When I created a PDF from the Word document and clicked on the first footnote callout, it took me to the top of the document, but to nowhere specific—just to the top. I then clicked on all the links and none of the links were taking me to the footnotes at the bottom of the page.
When I converted the Word file back to portrait and created a new portrait PDF file, all my links worked and took me to the correct destinations.
I even tried to start with a brand new Word document and made it landscape with a single footnote with its respective callout. After creating the PDF file and testing out the link, it still was not taking me to the text at the bottom, but to a location at the top of the page.
Is there a feature or function that I'm missing that is making my landscape document's footnotes not operate properly? I'm at a loss here.
Thank you,
Erica
