I have recently installed Adobe Acrobat Pro onto my new PC, and since then, for reasons unknown, when I add comments on files, it's not my name, it's a name I have never heard of. How on earth do I fix that?  Thanks

Visit your preferences and choose Commenting.  You should find an option to use your computer login name for your commenting.  If this is not enabled, you can input any name you wish, and it should stick for future commenting. It sounds as if someone else may have used their name on your computer to comment - maybe.

You can access the properties on an existing comment to change the name of the commenter. (right-click on the comment icon).

Are you able to change the name of the commenter for a single comment?  If you can do that successfully, you may then try to click on Make Current Properties Default after right-clicking on that comment.
