Community Beginner ,
Dec 16, 2020 Dec 16, 2020

Hello,

Since a short time I'm receiving the Logtransport2.exe error when I try to shut down my computer. I noticed that his is a known error in the Adobe community so I was wondering if there was a fix for this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Dakota,

Thank you for reaching out.

As you receive the error, please try to close the LogTransport2 process manually. Use the steps suggested below.

For Windows:

- Right-click the taskbar and choose Task Manager.
- Find LogTransport2 in the Processes tab and click to select it.
- Click the End Task button.

For Mac:

- In the Applications/ Utilities folder, launch Activity Monitor.
- In the Process list, click LogTransport2.
- Click the stop sign icon at the top.
- Choose Force Quit.

Then try rebooting the machine and ensure that the application is updated. Also, try repairing the application. Check if that helps.

If the issue still occurs, please share the Acrobat and OS version on the machine.

Let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hello Meenakshi,

Thank you for your reply!

We tried this but the error unfortunately persists when shutting down the computer.
