Good Evening!
I have spent some trialing the different Acrobat DC tools for creating editable forms but what I have currently is a little too complex for its purpose.
I am converting currently paper based checksheets to a digital version that can be signed. These sheets are already in PDF format and are usually printed and filled in by pen. I have created the neceassry checkboxes/radio buttons/dropdowns etc without any problem but the signature section at the bottom is giving me some problems. From what I can work out I have 2 options, either 'Adobe Sign' or 'Fill & Sign' but adobe sign requires the input of an email address to send to and seems to be limited to the signatures of the email receipients, and Fill & Sign has similiar additional requirements.
For the signature I am just looking for a box that can be filled using touch. It doesnt need any additional functions as the template of this sheet would be stored on tablets and completed copies stored on a shared drive. SO the files do not require allocating to any individual person.
Is it possible to have a touch box input field without all the requirements of the signature boxes? Or to remove those requirements from the exsisting tools?
Thanks in Advance!
Darren

Fill & Sign doesn't require entering any email addresses. You can just use it directly and it does what you described.
Alternatively you can just instruct the users to use the Pencil commenting tool to doodle their signature in that area.
