Hi Adobe community and support, I have gone through numerous community forum posts about this error, and people claim it works, but I have not had success after several hours of work trying typical fixes and even full uninstall reinstall of adobe acrobat and office 365. User has Mac M2 chip, on Sonoma OS. I am looking for that needle in a haystack, something unique. The error user gets on opening Powerpoint files is this: pop up heading reads "Visual Basic for Applications". Screenshot attached, behind it, showing the exact folder location of the file it claims is "missing".

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
It seems to be a MS issue, please check the similar discussion that I have found on MS support page here (https://adobe.ly/45JjYpn) and see if that helps.
Regards
Amal

That answer is from 2017 and doesn't refer to current OS, Word, or Acrobat versions.
Microsoft says this is an Adobe issue.

I run into the same "Run-time Error 53" problem with PowerPoint on Mac. I can only follow the path to "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/", there is no "MACPDFM" folder under "Adobe". I am running MS Office 2021 on MacOS Sequoia on a M1 Pro.

I actually can find that file and STILL get the error!
