Mac SONOMA: indexing catalogue not longer possible because files can't be opened

Indexing some folders with pdf's or the whole disk no longer possible, get error message files can't be opened.  Reading the help pages is suspect the names of the folders are to long? I already checked 'compatibilteit withe ISO ... afdwingen' but no result.

What to do? All the maps om my Mac have names with more then 8 letters ....

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.

The team released a fix for the issue with the subsequent versions of the application. 

Would you mind updating the app to the latest version (2024.005.20414) and let us know if the issue is fixed for you?

To do so, go to Help-> Check for Updates.

I updated to the last version, i.e. 2024 005 20414.

I tried once again to create a text index of a whole directory of pdf files on my Mac, but the result stays the same:
