MacBook Air 2022 will not print .pdf files.

MacBook Air 2022 Ventura OS

Other file types print okay.  Pdf files will not print from Safari nor a saved file.

From Safari a pdf will attempt to print and fail with "filter failure."

Attempting to print a .pdf from Preview does not show a blue Print button at print launch.

Pdfs print with another computer (Windows), but not Mac with Ventura OS.

There are other posts here concerning this issue but I cannot find a solution.  Is there a fix?
