[MacOS 15] Since August update Acrobat DC doesn’t save its preferences any more

Hello together,

since the latest (August) update my Acrobat on a MacOS 15 machine doesn’t save it’s preferences any more.

After every new start all changes of the toolbar are gone and reset to default. Even parts of my selections inside the Preferences are gone (e.g. "Always show page format of the document").

I searched the forum and found nothing, that helps (e.g. https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/acrobat-reader-dc-won-t-save-preferences/m...). A reinstall of the application hasn’t helped, so I’m a bit out of ideas ... Maybe someone can assist me in getting this back to work again.
