Hello, all of a sudden the option 'make Adobe-PDF' has disappeared from my print menu. How is this possible and how can I restore the function? It is vital for my professional print work...
I work with Acrobat Pro 9 and Mac OS X 10.10.5.
Hans.

Hi Hanss16443068,
Please help me with the workflow you are following to understand the issue better.
Also since when have you been experiencing it.
Assuming, you are referring to PDF printer which is not available in Mac and if its PDF Maker, its available with Acrobat DC.
Thanks,
Supriya

Hi Supriya,
Thank you for your message!
From the software I’m working with I was always able to choose the option 'save as Adobe PDF' from the print menu. It has a drop-down with several choices (like 'open in preview', 'save as pdf', 'email pdf'). There was always an option 'save as Adobe PDF', that I need for my publications. That option is gone now since a couple of days (maybe longer, but I didn't need it for a couple of weeks). The only remaining option that I can use is 'save as pdf', which is not good enough a quality for professional print work.
I work with Acrobat IX Pro and Mac OS X 10.10.5
Thank you!
Hans.

Same thing happend to me. I use Acrobat DC on a Win7 x64 machine and select PDF from the print menu, which gives a wide variety of quality and configuration options. Created high-quality PDF from a Word 2010 document on Friday, as usual, with no problem. When I went to make another on Sunday, the PDF option had completely disappeared. No system changes had been made. -WJF
