Hey,
So I’ve been trying to turn some simple CV templates into fillable PDFs — nothing fancy, just name, email, work history etc. Every time I use Acrobat’s form field detection it totally screws up the layout lol.
I run a job site for freshers in the UAE and we’re just trying to make it easier for people to fill out resumes straight from their phones instead of messing with Word docs.
Is there a chill way to just add a few clean text fields without Acrobat rearranging half the page?

Thank you for reaching out.
Please let us know if you are creating the Acrobat or the Acrobat Sign form. Would you mind sharing the screenshot of what happens with the form field detection in Acrobat? Please share more information and the form so we can check.
In the meantime, please take a look at the information in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/4iGrI0c.
Feel free to let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

The form field detection wizard can't change anything in the file's layout (unless there's a serious bug in the application). It can only add form fields. If that is not working for you, then don't use it. Add them manually.
