Malfunctioning Adobe Pro DC with fonts

I am appalled by the lack of support by Adobe. They make one pay hundreds for a software that does not do what it is supposed to be doing. When printing to pdf it will not take up certain fonts. If help is searched, one is confronted with a ludicrous form with thousands of messages. Do you truly believe that people just live to spend that live looking for an answer to this forum????
Really this is below any standard that clients may expect for this kind of software with this kind of price level.

From what application are you printing to a PDF?
Can you give us some additional details about your OS and workflow?

I just did a test with a 24-page document that uses Calibri and created the PDF 3 ways:
- PDF Maker (Acrobat ribbon tab)
- Print to Adobe PDF driver
- Save as PDF (internal Microsoft method)
All three worked fine.
Can you give the exact versions of Word (look under the Account setting) and Acrobat?

Yes.
You mentioned that you printed to PDF. What happens if you try the other methods listed?

See the results:
- PDF Maker (Acrobat ribbon tab) - same problem, characters disappear
- Print to Adobe PDF driver - converts as should
- Save as PDF (internal Microsoft method) - same problem, characters disappear

My first suspicion is the OS version. Can you try the same document on a computer with OS 10 or 11?
Did you check the document properties to see if the fonts are being embedded?
Other things you can try...
Test 1: in the PDF Maker preferences, click on Advanced button. Install the Calibri fonts to Always Embed and see if PDF comes out properly.
This shouldn't affect the PDF Maker, but in the Printer preferences, try changing this setting:
Also, check out this post, especially the last entry by Bevi Chagnon:
