Margings - when printing - difference between 'Fit' and 'Actual Size'

From Microsoft Word I am printing 2x A4 (portrait) on 1 page to Acrobat.
Within Word: left margin is set to 1,8cm (sufficient space to punch holes), all other margins are set to 1,0cm

Now, when printing the document from Acrobat to my printer, there are a few options, like:
100%, actual size, fit.

When I select 100%, the left margin is 1,2
When I select 'Fit', the left margin is 1,6-1,7

Either way, the document fits.

It looks like Acrobat considers the document to be 'oversized'? But to me it the document seems -not- to be oversized.

Is this a matter of settings within Acrobat?
