Measure Tool Setting a custom measure between 2 points

I have two points on a drawing that I know the length of.

I want to do a custom scale using those 2 points by entering the known measurment so that it will reflect in the measure tool

I was just looking for the same answer, its a shame no one commented. Bluebeam offers this functionality but i dont see an option for it in Adobe. A work around that i have utilized is measuring the distance between the two points you are talking about with the scale set at 1=1. this will give you what the distance actually is on the image/PDF. you can then use the actual measurement you got vs what is denoted on the plans to derive your scale for the page. Hope this helps!

Thank you for this!   It's so simple and get's it close enough for what I need.  I've been getting frustrated trying to figure out a work around on this.
