Measure Tool - text style options

New Here ,

Is it possible to modify the text size/font style of a measured dimension? Am I missing something obvious?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, Adobe Acrobat does not have built-in options to change the text size or font style directly in the Measure Tool. However, you can use a workaround by copying and pasting larger text from a text box.

Also please share your feature request with the engineering team using the link https://adobe.ly/4iiL8s5 for consideration and future implementation.

Hi Mattd,

What you are looking for, can not be achieved withing the Acrobat. There is no such preferences to change the font/text in Measure Tool.

However, there is a workaround given in the similar forum discussion here: How to Change the Text Size in Measurement Tool In Acrobat  that you can follow.

You may also fill the feature request form here: Feature Request/Bug Report Form

Regards,

Akanchha

This is ridiculous. I shouldn't need a workaround to perform such a simple feature.

This can be done in Bluebeam which is similarly priced, and Tracker PDF-XChange Editor which costs a fraction of the cost of Adobe Acrobat.

The lack of customization of the tools available in Acrobat is very disappointing.

It's still a workaround, and doesn't appear to be documented or exposed in the Acrobat GUI, and sorry, I should've replied here first, rather than as I did at the link by @SER4 below, but…

In the Acrobat Pro Comments Pane you can use the Indesign keyboard shortcuts Shift+Ctrl+> and Shift+Ctrl+< to resize selected comment text, including dimensions. It will initially jump to 1pt, but only on very first application of the formatting.

This workaround unfortunately now broken, detail at SER4's link above.

Adobe Pro post 2017 is trash. The basic functions have been removed - dumbed down for the mobile / thumb version.
