Measuring Tool Not Saving Areas

When measurng areas for SF or SY it would always save the measurment and allow me to adjust the points I plotted. Suddenly one of two things happens. 

1. When I complete the measurement and try to double click to connect the lines it keeps saying it can be the same point or something. 
2.  Sometimes it will show the measurement in the bottom right, but will not allow me to adjust and if I start a new measurement, it deletes what I just did. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.3.20281 (Mac) or 22.3.20282 (Win) installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.
