Hi
I used to be able to use the Microsoft Print to PDF feature in Adobe Acrobat Pro (paid account) but it has now disappeared from the print drop down menu.
I've tried repairing the program but it's still not there.
Any thoughts?
Many thanks.
Samantha

Thank you for reaching out.
The option is still available in the application. Please check if MS Word is installed on the machine.
Could you please share a screenshot of the options that are available to you? Also, share the Acrobat and OS version numbers you currently use.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

Hi Meenaskshi
Thank you so much for replying.
I have sorted it out with my IT guy now so it comes up but it doesn't work as it used to. It used to enable me to save a secured document (client's password protected bank statement) into another document that I could add other documents to, to create a binder of documents. All Microsoft print to pdf does now is print the document which I can do anyway.
I'm on Windows 10 (I don't want to upgrade to 11 as I don't like change!) and I use Adobe Acrobat Pro, a paid account.
Really grateful for any guidance you can offer.
Best wishes.
Samantha

Why would you want to print a PDF as a PDF?

I don't want to print it.
I want to save lots of secured documents (password protected bank statements) into one composite file but the password protection won't allow me to do that. The only way I used to be able to do it was using Microsoft print to pdf which didn't print the document. It saved a print output file which I could add other files to.
Many thanks.

It is against the policy of these forums to discuss how to remove a security policy from a PDF file (unless you have the password for it, of course). If it's not letting you do it, good.

I'm not trying to remove a security policy. I just want to consolidate multiple bank statements into one file, which I used to be able to do. I can't see what's wrong with that.

Unless you're using a Portfolio, then you are trying to remove the security policy, as protected files can't be merged otherwise.

Thanks I've tried converting it to a portfolio and adding files to it but when you send that saved portfolio to a recipient it tells them to download Adobe Reader and then they just won't go any further. There must be another way of sending a large file of merged documents via a sharing link that they can view online or similar?
